About the Faire
Come and enjoy the merriment of this year’s
Olde English Faire, the fourth and fifth of
October, the year of our Lord 2008. The gates shall open at 9:00
in the morning and close at 4:00 in the afternoon.
The Faire shall stay open until the last Castle
tour is completed!
The treasury requires only a donation of $8.00
per adult and $4.00 for those under the age
of thirteen—children not yet five shall
be admitted with out charge. If you wish to
revel not one, but both days of the Faire, two-day
wristband passes will be available for the price
of $12.00 for adults and $6.00 for children
5-12. The Faire shall proceed come rain or come
shine!
Encounter the delights of the Faire:
- Wise and foolish players shall wander the
grounds and perform feats of magic, derring-do,
comedy and more
- Serenading minstrels fill the air with melodies
from near and far
- Daring swordfighters display their skill
in heroic contests
- Merchants and artisans offer fanciful treasures,
and Stronghold’s International Gift
Shop brings the world to you
- And much more! Join us at Stronghold on
October 6 and 7 for the Olde English Faire!
