Guest Policies
In order to ensure a
positive experience for all, our guests
will be held responsible for observing
the following policies:
- No smoking is permitted
in any building, in the woods, or on
the trails. Stronghold provides a smoke
free environment in all buildings. Those
who smoke should be conscious and courteous
of the comfort and well being of non-smokers.
Please use outside receptacles for disposal
of smoking materials.
- The use of alcoholic
beverages and/or illegal drugs on the
grounds or in Stronghold's facilities
is prohibited. Evidence of use by individuals
or groups will result in expulsion from
the grounds and cancellation of the
contract. No refunds will be issued.
- Possession of firearms,
hunting, or trapping on Stronghold property
is prohibited.
- Quiet Time will be
observed after 11:00 pm. Retreat and
conference programs often include recreational
time. However, hours of rest for all
guests and staff are essential. At 11:00
pm, all guests are expected to be in
their own facilities. Any exception
must be negotiated in advance. Stronghold
reserves the right to cancel the visit
of groups in residence without notice
in the event of late night disturbance.
No refunds will be issued.
- Entry or exit through
windows or via rooftops is prohibited
except in an emergency.
- Candles are not to
be used without prior approval. If you
plan to use candles as part of your
program, please contact the Guest Services
Manager prior to your arrival at Stronghold.
- Pets are not allowed
in any of Stronghold's facilities for
the health and safety of all guests.
Assistance animals are allowed and must
be registered with the host. Pets are
allowed in the family camp area but
must be kept quiet and tied or leashed
at all times.
- Damages to buildings
and/or equipment will be charged to
the group responsible based on material
and labor cost for repairs or replacement.
- Groups
renting Stronghold are assumed to have
their own insurance coverage. Proof
of insurance will be requested at time
of contract.
